North Yorkshire County Council is an established Kickstart Gateway organisation with over 300 Kickstart jobs already approved by the Department of Work and Pensions, in a range of businesses across the county. We are excited to be now working with these businesses to appoint eligible young people to these roles. We are keen to support more local businesses who wish to apply via NYCC. The benefit of applying via a Gateway organisation such as NYCC is that we have met the criteria of providing a robust Employability Support programme for participants, which is an essential part of the scheme that all employers need to evidence in their application.
