It would be useful to try and find out what support local businesses find useful or would find useful. It just so happens that there is Business Productivity Review under way by the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy to help to gain an understanding from businesses about the business support offer.

New Cycle England Initiative

Welcome to Yorkshire has secured £1 million of funding over the next year in a project which will see the creation of new bookable cycling packages in Yorkshire targeting Dutch and German tourists.

The initiative forms part of the Discover England Fund, led by Visit England.

Hot on the heels of the Tour de Yorkshire Land Art competition, the shortlisted entries for the Best Dressed competition have now been unveiled.

While the Land Art competition – which went to a public vote on Wednesday - focuses on the giant artworks that adorned the route, the Best Dressed competition seeks to reward the people and places that went the extra mile to honour the race’s passing.
